(For those in closed primary states:)
When you bring up that you have to register Republican to vote for Ron Paul, and they sort of groan, give them a SECOND party change sheet, and say "and after you vote, use this one to change your affiliation back to Independent/Democrat."
If affiliating with Republicans is a roadblock for your voters, this works every time.
Just learned this today from one of the SF meetup guys. :D
