Can someone please explain to me how it is RP dominated the straw poll and yet he has not one delegate supporting him?

If I was in Wyoming, and my delegate went against my wishes, I would find them somewhere and scream at them with as many RP supporters as possible until they changed their vote...

Get it together Wyoming.

Iowa straw poll: 9.2%
Iowa Caucus: 10%

Wyoming straw poll: 47%
Wyoming caucus poll: 0%

One of these things just doesn't belong, Can you tell which thing is not like the others ......

Wyoming GOP county conventions gave their delegates to Romney, Thompson, McCain, and Hunter. But Ron Paul never stood a chance there.

We shouldn't have expected anything from Wyoming. Most observers didn't understand the rules.

The Wyoming county conventions were NOT open to Republican voters. Eligible delegates consisted of only two groups: Republican party officials who were elected in 2006; and delegates who were appointed (by established precinct organizations) to fill empty delegate seats.

There was little chance for new party activists to participate in this process, only old-timers made the choice.

Hopefully an action post Ron Paul that this revolution can push is to make the primary process more open everywhere!

Tell us what state you live in, so that we can yell at you when Ron Paul doesn't win. I'm sick of posts that yell at people in Iowa and now Wyoming.

If Paul doesn't win the nomination, why would he want to run third party for us when all we did is whine and complain and put each other down (and the campaign) when we don't win?

This shows how much we need to focus on converting the party base and structure.

Ok, so you got me wondering. What do the stars represent?

I fear that this will be edited, but look at where Wyoming is compared to Utah. And that certain influences might mandate certain votes.

Again it's not important who votes, but who counts the votes!

Even in a flawed system, we could have done better.

It was baffling for Wyoming to move its primary up and lose half its delegates just to get a few more advertising dollars. They bet and lost. The RNC was right to penalize them. I guess Romney made out good, though.

Wyoming, freecycle your signs to another primary state! Be the only campaign that cleans up after yourselves.

I don't think this one is a big deal.
RP is likely going to win Alaska where he has big support.
Both states are insignificant and this becomes a wash.

The Wyoming caucas must be more like a politburo meeting than a democratic selection process.

guys...i'm telling ya...u have GOT to know each state that caucuses...may do it *differently*...

to reiterate from RODO's post from 12/22:

"...Remember every state is different. They have different rules. So you need to know if your caucus is going to elect delegates with a straight top x vote getters taking the delegate slots (as this example assumes) or if you will be doing some type of winner take all (then we can be screwed) or will they sub caucus. Sub caucusing is a whole different ballgame and requires a whole different strategy with some similarities but is a bit more complicated. So if you want to research your rules send me a PM with the rules and an idea of how well you are organized etc I would be glad to help further."

k...i don't know if this will come our correct...yet where ever the post lands...go to the TOP of the thread!!!!!!

i have said probably 4x already ...we need a stcky showing our *caucus* states...in this manner we can then get the dates for each caucus state & make sure everyone is coached in advance to what they will be up against...........all states are NOT going to be the same in caucus.
