There has to be a way to motivate people to get off of their ass and go vote, especially young people.
We need a gimmick like a voting party...call your friends, invite them to the party tell them to vote on the way over...whichever.
It needs to be an event.
How many people are probably sitting home on election day and they figure...bah, it's cold out and it's just one vote anyway...I'll check the paper tomorrow to see who won. Those people need friends that are calling them saying...Hey, we're all meeting up at Dooley's at 4...go vote and come meet us...then if they get there and don't vote...everyone berates them and someone drives them to the polls.
Something like this would be unique to our campaign. We can't just hope people get off their asses and vote.
