There were @$$holes in some of the meetups who didn't even go to the precinct caucuses. Frustrating. If we fail, we fail because of the stupidity of ourselves. They missed out on being 1/800th of the entire states vote.

If we had 3 delegates, we'd all be partying right now. :(

This campaign has been a total cluster****. People go to the friggin straw polls but don't show up for the really thing.
Not the campaigns fault. It is OUR responsibility to get up and do what is right.

wow, can you please drop your support for Ron Paul? thanks. We'd be better off with out the negative attitude and language.

I'd rather be negative and vote than be positive and not vote. Sorry if I'm letting off some steam here but the fact is we f###d up.

Do you understand that only 800 people are voting? Do you understand that if we had just gotten 50 more people the results could be totally different? Do you understand that there were people who said they wouldn't show up to the precinct caucuses if the weather was bad? These were MEETUP PEOPLE!

That link shows Romney with 3 VOTES, not delegates. Are you sure about this? This same type of confusion happened when tracking Iowa.

Both the campaign and the grassroots screwed up.

Remember, alot of the revolution is made up by first-time caucus goers... or at least I believe it is. So, a straw poll is much less frightening to go to than the real deal. I would not be a bit surprised if people are getting nervous or are simply thinking that they need to vote the general election and not the caucus/primary elections.

It's scary to think about it but I firmly believe that about 60-80% of the RP Revolution doesn't understand that they must go to the caucuses/primaries in order to vote for Ron Paul in the general elections. I could almost guarentee that they're thinking he'll be in the general no matter what!

It's OUR FAULT that info. about delegates and voting in caucuses/primaries HAS TO BE DONE in order to get Paul into the general! They are just uninformed and need to be told ASAP!

I've talked to a few RP supporters here that thought they were waiting until the general election to vote for Paul. They had NO IDEA that they needed to caucus for Paul in order to WIN! This is the problem with first time voters and goers'... they just don't know how things work/operate! -Tyler

The campaign could have easily spent a little money on Wyoming to get it organized. How do you think Romney is doing it? Now we're losing just because we didn't get first.

We are not losing, that we know of. They are not all counted yet. How does anyone know what is really going on anyways? It is just a sit and wait game. Let's keep our heads up, the coverage is bad anyways, we just don't have a clue.

if we can walk away in with one or 2 delegates, I'll call it a success, considering what bizzarre process their caucus is

There was a thread weeks ago on the forum about trying to get delegates elected, but many of the positions were automatically going to existing party officers, who had been elected in 2006. The Wyoming system was set up to prevent an outsider like Ron Paul from winning, much like the Texas straw poll.

There was an opportunity to select some of the 800 delegates, and I think many Ron Paul supporters in Wyoming made a good effort to do so.

We are trying here in WV-- but I hope at least the 176 people who donated to Paul in Wyoming at least get out to vote. A revolution will not happen if everyone stays home..

I'm telling you, not being negative. I am getting up and going to canvass. If you are not, you are part of the problem. See you when it gets dark.

It is easy to believe "apathy" applies to other people, while affirming how awesome you and your candidate are while watching one more video. Reading one more story about how awesome we all are. Making one more post.

Like I said, see you after it gets dark.

Well 3 votes for Romney (really delegates) is 25% (that's how much is done) of 12 delegates.

Maybe they are just reporting it funny, who knows, but there still 75% left. We could be right next to him and not know it yet. I know it is scary though after getting 10%. It is only scary because the MSM is going to spin it and continue to ignore us. If Ron Paul does great he might get some respect finally. We just might have to wait a little longer.

On the aol primary results, it says there are 28 delegates for Republicans?

Divide that by 2 and subtract 2 from it.

Penalty by the GOP and 2 are being decided a few months from now.

^ Cut in half only 14 and 12 will be selected today.

The newspaper covering the Teton Caucus showed the Ron Paul guy getting 8 Votes in the first round and then 5 in the second.....I doubt any Paul supporters shed support, so I guess they went for someone else.

My understanding is why little money was spent by any candidate in Wyoming is there is very few people compared to area, so it is expensive in comparison to other states, and then add on that Wyoming had half their delegates stripped from them it was not cash efficient to do Wyoming. My understanding is Paul, Romney, and Thompson spent the most money in Wyoming.

Has anyone emailed Wyoming meetup groups to remind them to Caucus today?
There were a few meetup groups with 7 members, 17 members, etc....

Maybe they changed parties too late, or something. I don't understand this myself.
