and challenge the other candidates to drop out of the FOX forum as it's not supported by 'the party', this is a great opportunity to take the moral highground and show that he is a Republican party loyalist

I think he should definitely say something. This could not have turned out better. I also think he should invite any candidate to his event, for a truly open and honest debate.
