Discussions with local county chairs suggest the following results, or something along these lines, would not be surprising: eight delegates for Romney, two delegates for Thompson, one delegate for Ron Paul, and one delegate for Duncan Hunter.

the thing is it doesnt add up to the suppose total of 14 delegates. Is this for only one county?

It does, as far as I understood it, WY gets only 12 delegates because they were penalized for voting too early... (or something along those lines)

No, Wyoming does have 14. Only 12 will be decided today. I think that NH has 24?

I cannot verify how many delegates NH will offer. I have heard 24 but I am not sure.

Then the 1 delegate doesnt make sense if they are voting again later

Wyoming is kind of confusing. The way I understand it only some 800 people will be voting, so it will not be like many of the other primaries/caucuses. I think the remaining 2 delegates will be decided at the state convention.

Whens the state convention?

You can look up the number of candidates for each state in the "Call for the 2008 Republican National Convention" here (www.gop.com/images/2008_Call_FINAL.pdf).

It should therefore be 14 for WY and 12 for NH

Let's hope a miracle happens and RP gets the majority of delegates.. That'd swing him back into this race like nothing other.

Unless wikipedia is lying to us, it has 12 delegates.

all candidates have zero so far in Iowa - stop listening to CNN -
after delegate selection in Iowa in June they will still be totally uncommitted even at convention in September -

Ron Paul outright won one county in Iowa - southeastern Iowa's Libertarian Jefferson County - unlike Fred or anyone else besides Flipper or Muck Hickabee :

and btw, the one dissenter in 2004 for Bush43's uncontested bid . . .
yep, Iowa.

Maybe not stop, but RTFA. The # of delegates on CNN website is only an estimation based on the % of votes each candidate received. THAT'S ALL. You've got a full description below the tables.

definitely 12 after the penalty of moving up by being idiots at the NH GOP for not reading the rules -
sucker-punched by Iowa's 5 month caucus process I guess.

so unfortunately for it's citizens, New Hampshire is only half as important at the convention-
although the media does NOT want THAT fact known by the masses -" keep 'em dumb and dumber" by Wolfe at CNN.

Last section has all the final state delegates :
