Please contact your local central -southern California coasts with this, there'll be a couple thousand veterans there as well as many many people there coming to see the USS Ronald Reagan carrier ship
Announcing a new event for Santa Barbara Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Group!
What: Ron Paul Rally - with the USS Ronald Reagan
When: Saturday, January 12, 11:00 AM
Who should come: EVERYONE
Why: The USS Ronald Reagan will serve as our backdrop, and we need to show our suport to the Troops, The media, and the locals.
Event Description: The USS Ronald Reagan will be in town the weekend of the 12th! We will be coordinating a rally and march to show our support for the troops, their lives, and veterans rights.
Dr. Paul leads all the other candidates in military donations and endorsements. We need to make the fact known.

The march will coincide with the events hosted by the Navy Leage (Schedule here (http://www.santabarbaranavyleague.org/docs/2008_Ship_Visit_Event_Calendar.pdf))
Our Itinerary:
11AM: Gather and organize at Alameda Park, near the gazebo
12PM: Begin March down State Street to the pier - distributing handouts to people and businesses along the way.
1PM: Speaking at the pier, and showing our support. The USS Ronald Reagan will be the backdrop.
2PM: Chase Palm Park Concert - We will have our signs and be distributing handouts.
3-5PM: Break for dinner at local State Street restaurants.
5PM: Return march up State Street and re-group at the Arlington Theater.
6-7PM: Show our presence at Arlington theater, coinciding with the Navy hosted 'Rock the Reagan' Concert.
