John McCain glibly remarked that he'd like to stay in Iraq for 100 years. Here's a viewers response.

I quite like that response. He certainly doesn't hold back!

Here's the original video of McCain's statement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vf7HYoh9YMM

It is my hope that people who hear this might start thinking a bit about what the hell McCain actually said and eventually realize the folly of such an approach.

Then again, maybe McCain has a point. Taking his statement a step further, I guess people of other countries would actually be quite happy with us manipulating their governments as we see fit and stationing thousands of troops in every country in the world for the rest of time, as our economy and currency suffer no woes and the peoples of the world unite in joy and praise of their benevolent watchmen. O, how fortunate are they that we deigned it necessary to improve their lives through military conquest and subterfuge! How small a price to pay are the shackles of their old governments and cultures, the trifles of their nations' sovereignty and autonomy! Praise be to America, who has utterly crushed the evils of terror, drugs, communism, and all other malicious ideologies, so that we may now live with peace, freedom, and democracy through the pure intentions of the American government and their consistently successful implementation of the brilliant concept of nation building!

If you believe any of that, I have a bridge you may be interested in.
