It's a nice ad, but I really think it's missing the WHY.

Americans must know the WHY!

I don't think the 30-second ads are a good place to explain the why.

Ads are the hook.
The grassroots is the line.
The message is the sinker.

Yeah, he needs to say something about the anti-war stance in it. Aside from that, it's good. A lot better than the first ones...

good point.

they definitley could have put a little more actual information in it. but it may cause people to automatically wonder why....

2 minute ads.

I have been saying this since November the campaign needs to air two minute ads.

good point. all that is needed is for them to look him up.
look him up for his war stance, which is then related to the economy, and then immigration and domestic policy and soon they'll be on here posting with us :D

If this ad makes people that are unaware of Ron Paul's positions ask "why"....."why" does the military support Paul...then this ad does exactly what it should do...encourage folks to go to Paul's site to look for the answer...;) I love the ad.

Edit - Man, you guys post quick...lol

Cost is too high and most people (myself included) would turn it off if it interrupted a show. When can you air two minutes that is when mainstream is watching TV?

The campaign should not be airing ads at all.
They should be setting up interviews with local newspapers, and trying to get celebrity support.

Sadly a lot of people don't, if they did, he would already be the next president.

Americans don't have 2 minute attention spans.

This ad is supposed to get the viewer to ask questions - which it does brilliantly.

"Who is this Ron Paul guy who the troops support and took 10% in Iowa?"

Brilliant. Should be broadcast nationwide immediately

Honestly i really don't like this commercial for one because it sounds like ever other gop candidate commercial and in NH he should be campaigning his hatred of the Patriot Act and how he will protect Habeas Corpus and the 2nd amendment

EXACTLY. This is what makes RP stand out from the other republican candidates. We need to emphasize this more than anything.

This doesn't convey any real message at all when I watch it....I get the feeling it could be almost anybody they are refering to (except the part about the donations).

I hope people can read fast. That's all I have to say about it.
