1/4/2008 had $60,227.76 with 834 donors. I think we made a bump yesterday, but I want everyones opinion on how to proceed.
I am afraid that fundraising is becoming divisive among the grassroots and counterproductive to getting the campaign the $23 million they have asked for. I feel I have tried to reach out to other efforts to coordinate, but everyone seems too concerned about marketing their own ideas/favorites.
So we must consider the possibility of a course correction in our activity. Here is a list of possible choices:
Continue to promote Payday
Stop actively promoting Payday, let it coast until Feb 1
Cancel Payday
I am not posting a poll since I want to know peoples position and this thread is only meant for those that are already actively supporting Payday. Please post and indicate you desire for the future of Payday. Based on your responses I will likely solicit further input on a course of action moving ahead.
