I have noticed that after the Tea Party everyone has been trying to make their own money bomb, and it has become very hard to keep track of them.

In my opinion one big money bomb is better than a bunch of small ones.

Maybe it would be possible to appoint a committee to judge and space all the proposed money bombs.

Or to devote a section of the forum to approving or disapproving moneybombs.

I also think that someone should make a calender or something tracking all of the official moneybombs.

We need to combine the money bombs into one big money nuke

Save the nukes for when we get the nomination.

The time for gimmicks is over. Moneybombs have gotten us as far as they can and now we need to concentrate on local grassroots action.

I agree that we need to focus on action. But funding will always be a priority as well. I don't think it's a good idea to just stop moneybombing.

I fully agree. All the moneybombs are confusing and
it would be much more successful if WE ALL would go
for one Moneybomb to spread it all over the net and
the Media.

Or even better:

payday is a great idea but i think that having to shell out cash every week is a big turn off to people. Even though spending $100 a month is the same as $25 it feels like more to do it weekly.
I don't think we should make donating feel like a chore.

Agreed. The money bombs work better because people get riled up.

That's why we need to win NH and Nevada. The money will flow in after winning a state

I'm not so sure.
Surprisingly our base has actually grown from our iowa "win". And as we can see more supporters doesn't always mean more money. We need to properly organize the moneybombs.
Think of how much money we could raise if we had a tea party sized bomb every month or so. its all about organization.

Agreed. Every new supporter could be another person as active as you, getting more supporters, a tidal wave of money and votes.

Think about it.

But you've got to get them locally, face to face, knocking on their doors.

Don't know how?

I agree , we need a "Precinct Captain" bomb now.

Having good moneybombs only makes our support stronger. If people see that we can successfully organize bomb after bomb they will respect and eventually support us.
We also can't forget that no money = no campaign
I'm not saying that we don't continue the precinct captain plan but we need to organize our funding better

My 02. I think the payday or weekly contributions make sense. The original money bombs gave a good base and now we need to keep the flow coming with weekly donations.

crink

But people keep making moneybombs along with the weekly donations. Is it really smart to do both, the majority of people will not donate 5-7 times a month. We need to join all the donation power into one side i think that moneybombs have advantages over paydays but if the majority disagree then i am fine with paydays but i don't think we should have both.

My wife and I have over $3250 left to donate. We're merely spanning it out to help Paul stay in for the long haul. Every money bomb we've participated in and every couple of weeks we give more.
