Taking video at a Derry, New Hampshire Town Hall meeting yesterday that John McCain held. We caught him say "make it 100 years in Iraq" when someone asked him about Bush stating we would be there 50 years. The crowd of 500 full of independents (our best chance of getting 3rd or better there!) was shocked. This REEKS of a devastating Howard Dean Scream moment! Please get this out to the news media by emailing calling campaigns who are all attacking McCain in New Hampshire (one less independent for McCain helps Paul even if they go to the democratic side) Get this on the news over the weekend before the ABC debate or definitely on Monday before the primary. This is worth more than a billion attack ads because it speaks for itself. Make sure it gets on the news networks and on tv!
Youtube "Make it 100" McCain. RATE 5 Stars and FAVORITE to get it up to a million views and honors!

Heres a list of ALL the news media contact information.

With all due respect, you don't get it. You call this a "Howard Dean Scream" moment. The scream was an emotional and theatrical gaffe. This is a substantive issue oriented gaffe, so it won't matter. Campaigns are mostly about emotion and theatrics because that is what attracts people. It is easier to feel than it is to think.

It gets better :D

After the event ended, I asked McCain about his "hundred years" comment, and he reaffirmed the remark, excitedly declaring that U.S. troops could be in Iraq for "a thousand years" or "a million years," as far as he was concerned.

From the same article: Quote McCain:
U.S. troops, he continued, are stationed in South Korea, Japan, Europe, Bosnia, and elsewhere as part of a "generally accepted policy of America's multilateralism." There's nothing wrong with Iraq being part of that policy, providing the government in Baghdad does not object.

Make sure at all the primary events of the other speakers bring it up in your questions!!! Ask them according to the LA Times McCain is fine with us being in Iraq for 100 years. 50 more than Bush wants. How do you feel about that and what is your timetable? More or less than McCain's New 100 year war in Iraq?

He has to hit him hard on this. Not for a gimmick or a strategy, but because the people should know the truth and know how important it is.

BUT much more importantly, he ALSO must, in this debate, and in ads or however for the next few days, hit Obama on the war (not out til at least 2013) (as well as the patriot act, and taxes).

If he (and his Campaign) does not do this strongly, they may be giving up 5-10 or more percentage points. We need boldness and a shouted, strong message that defines him as better and necessary.
