This is second-hand info, but another poster said we've been linked by other forums and they're describing us as being "in total meltdown".

Maybe you care, maybe not. Just thought I'd mention it.

Help! I'm melting down! Anyone! Don't let the other forums see us like this . .. turn away!

Just for fun: run an Alexa stats of this forum vs. the "other" forums!

What else is new? Without this forum, no other grassroots would have any ideas.

I'd love nothing more than for these issues to get even more transparency.

Hmmm...I view a thousand posts a day here and I've not seen this topic discussed.
Maybe it's worth talking about some more. :)
Sounds like an excellent reason for people to be on their best behavior.

It's good, we can spread the message to anyone.

About the war on terrorism:

The Neocon conservative argument:
We fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here.

Completely dumb, because if American soldiers are dying over there, then what good is the war? It's still an American life dead.

Is an American's soldiers life less important than yours or mine? Not really.

Are there more terrorist now after the invasion of Iraq or before?

We are melting down. We are still doing exactly what we were doing before we lost in Iowa, and unless we start focusing all of our attention on doing exactly what we need to do in order to start winning, actually getting Americans out to vote for Ron Paul, we're sunk.

I think this forum is in perpetual meltdown. Seems to be simultaneously one of its greatest weakness and greatest strengths. Paradoxical to the max.

Good for them. We were warned before the caucus not to panic, but there are only 11,000 of us on this forum and not everyone listens.

I have been very positive the entire time, have heard nothing but positive on the IA take.

Exactly. I always stay positive. This campaign has taken off, and that is the reality. I wasn't negative with the results of the Iowa straw poll, and I'm not negative now.

People really need to understand the nature of Iowa politics, and the demographics there. Along with the fact that Ron Paul gets BARELY ANY media coverage, and couple that with the fact that Ron Paul visited Iowa the least out of all the candidates, and he still wound up with 10%. That's a pretty dag on good showing if you ask me.

What's been working all along? Is that why we placed 5th in Iowa?

People don't just wake up. Iowa should show us that. We need to stop daydreaming and work together here to coordinate and organize our efforts to actually get Americans VOTING FOR RON PAUL.

What we have been doing, failed. We can learn from Iowa and fix this!

We could have gotten 3rd by a slim margin, like we all expected.

We failed to bring out the vote. Don't be complacent with failure! Let's use what we can learn from those who kicked our ass and start making it happen elsewhere. We can't use excuses about Iowa politics to ensure we lose again.

It's an open forum. It comes with the territory. Freedom can be chaotic at times. We'll be fine. The "other guys" can perceive meltdown if they want. In their eyes, ignorance, calmness, and fervent group-think are virtues. No thanks. I'll stick with the red pill. I'm perfectly capable of ignoring the pointless "sky is falling" threads. Feel free to join me; we've got an election to win.

Not even close.

It is true, we as a humongus group do melt sometimes into a shiny silver material that always finds a way to get back together rapidly. Each time we do this we become bigger and stronger and more awsome. Please other forums, look, take notes, watch and learn. Your children will be reading about this movement one day and how it saved their freedom and their Country. ;)

HQ desperately needs to change and become more aligned with the grassroots because we have carried this campaign to 5th in Iowa. If we only grassroots support can put him into 5th place, that means we could do at least 4th probably 3rd place in NH, and if the campaign gets as good as the grassroots they can finish carrying us to victory.

But I'm not holding my breath to see the campaign become awesome, even competent......
