I don't think it is.. because so many people are on it and use to having it as support they will not support ron paul on this. Whats his alternatives on this?

A fresh time waster with trollistic tendencies.

Dr. Paul advocates getting the federal government out of healthcare eventually.

Of course, in the short term -- he believes that bringing our troops home and reducing the empire will give us the funds necessary to transition our entitlements without continuing to run the disastrous deficits that are killing us.

You might want to read a little of his philosophy before posting an ill-informed 'question' like this.

I read it here ...

http://www.ronpaul2008.com/press-articles/40/paul-a-seller-of-ideas/

and I came here to ask this question because I trust the members here to point me in the right direction.... and i just found out about Ron Paul yesterday from a yard sign and I'm reading up on him and I do have questions on some stuff and if you want people to know more about him get use to questions.. and not turn them away by making them feel ignorant.

This is not necessarily Ron Paul's opinion. This is what I think.

Medicare and medicaid are not helping people. All it does is continue to feed the pharmaceutical companies. The problem with this is that these drugs are not curing anything, but rather they are treating symptoms. Treating symptoms makes you a customer for life and these companies are a making a killing on the older people in this country. They are further poisoning them with fluoride filled prescription medications. The best thing that could be done is get people off of medicare and medicaid and start educating people on how to take care of themselves for real. Not this fluffy stuff the FDA puts out that is meant to give you diabetes and cancer by the age of 50. Really show them the bad and good in our food supply and get them to look into alternative treatments. We should be after cures not just treating symptoms.

My grandparents have medicaid and it doesn't cover anything. My step fathers mom is paying for private health insurance because medicaid doesn't cover certain things.

These freebies are never free. They force you to go to doctors that follow their strict guidelines and if you want to go to a natural doctor you will be paying out of your pocket!
