I just got back from meeting with Adam (creator and admin. of http://voters.ronpaul2008.com) in our Ann Arbor office and I have answers for many the questions that I gathered from you all on these forums a few hours ago.

First of all the system is essentially complete.

There will be an email from the National Campaign to the entire ronpaul2008.com mailing list tomorrow, which by the way I'm told is in excess of 100,000.

The system will accept the input that you gather while canvassing, i.e. notes and phone numbers.

For security county and state coordinators can remove people if they seem to be moles for opposing campaigns. Additionally, your contact information is visible to every other precinct captain in your county, so potential saboteurs can be kept in check by their peers.

Some counties are missing data and precincts. Those gaps should be filled in shortly.

To prevent confusion for all of you who already know about this, "captains" may instead be changed to "leaders" but the functions will remain the same.

For those of you who are wondering how exactly we got this data, let me tell you all it wasn't easy. It was collected and given to us by the Republican Party proper. Believe me, we had to fight like hell to get it all. Though I'm told it's generally given to all the campaigns, as you might imagine they were quite reluctant to give that info to us. In fact it's something of a minor miracle we have it at all, I'm not sure exactly who is to thank for securing it for us, but we all owe that person(s) our gratitude.

There's a special sub-forum for this to be moved to after it is read and bumped around for a while:

Great update. This is probably the most powerful tool the grassroots has right now.

Thank you for the post!

Just got off the conference call for this.

So far we have 1297 Precinct Captains across the nation.

Join up today and let us all really get this revolution happening.

I'm very happy for this tool.

We were just tooling up in CT and this tool is a Godsend in preventing us from re-inventing the wheel.

If we can get street numbers sorted by the full number instead of the first digit and the option to remove Dems/Inds for states where they can't vote it'd be perfect.
