Guys.

I know there has been a lot of hysteria going on here lately. Most of it is over nothing. We all knew Iowa was not friendly turf. However there are two big states coming up that are VITAL and we CAN WIN THEM in a landslide.

The situation is thus:

(from wikipedia)

Florida Governor Charlie Crist (R) violated of Democratic party rules in signing a bill on May 21, 2007, to up the date of his state's primary causing a chain reaction which moved many other states' primaries and caucuses to much earlier dates. Accordingly, the Democratic National Committee has ruled that Florida's delegates will not be seated, or, if seated, will not be able to vote, at the National Convention. Furthermore, the DNC has also stated that it will forbid any candidate from receiving delegates should they campaign in the Florida primary.[11] The DNC Rules Committee met on August 25, 2007 and ruled that Florida would have 30 days to move its primary date at least 7 days later than the current date of January 29, or else lose all of its delegates in the Democratic primary. Florida officials said they may challenge the ruling on legal grounds and protest the 2008 convention; additionally, the actual implementation of such a decision might prove to be difficult.

Michigan has moved its primary to January 15, also in violation of party rules. On December 1, the Democratic National Committee voted to deny Michigan’s request to hold its primary on January 15 and declared that Michigan’s delegates will not count in the nominating contest unless Michigan moves its primary to a later date.

What does this mean? It means THE DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY VOTES IN THESE STATES DOES NOT COUNT

What does this mean to our campaign? Well, many democrats in this state are pissed off at the DNC, and many others don't even know this situation. How can we take advantage of this?

We need to convert as many democrats as possible and spread that their vote won't count in the democratic primary

We should get the word out that:

A.) Their vote will not count if they vote democrat
B.) They should lodge a protest vote by voting for a Republican
C.) They should lodge this protest vote by voting for the ONLY ANTI-WAR Candidate in the Republican party.

Doing these things, Michigan and Florida, and all their delegates will belong to us. Rudy doesn't stand a chance if we pull this off. He is banking all his hopes on Florida, if the anti-war vote there comes to our camp, he is toast. Give them an option to keep Rudy and the other war-mongers out of office.

If you live in either of these states. Spread the word. Spread it far and wide.

Good post. We need to get some Democrats to register Republican and vote RON PAUL in the primaries at least. Inform them that this way they help ensure that no matter who wins, the war ends (I know the Dems wont end the war but just go with it).

Michigan is open and Obama is not on the ballot. Spread the word to them because they can give us a win there.

This info needs to be posted on all of the political forums. Spread this and fast. Maybe we can place ads in their local papers with this info?
