Individuals:
1) Sign up to be a precinct captain.
2) Create a plan to make face to face contact with the voters in your precinct.
3) If you are overwhelmed, ask for help from family, your meetup, or the forums.
4) Keep an up to date record of your experiences online. This will keep us all motivated and aware of trends.

Meetup Leaders:
1) Make sure your precincts all have precinct captains.
2) Keep track of progress and leverage support and funds to people who need it.

We can't beat the big name candidates at their own game. We have to leverage our strengths- motivated intelligent supporters and a powerful message. This requires much effort from individuals. Is anyone willing to commit to this with me?

I'll start it off. When I get home from work, I will sign up to be a precinct captain in RI.

Would you trade a few months of your life for the possibility of a lifetime of regret?

The alternative is waiting for a big national organization to solve all our problems. Come on people, do you really think a nice shiny tv commercial is the only answer? Is money all you have to give? Rhode Island is representing, any other states?

I hate saying this, but I feel like threads with clear practical ideas are getting swallowed up in a sea of either blind optimism or cynical defeatism.

We can't change the past, but we can change the future. Lets not wait for someone to do it for us. Someone please make my day and tell me, despite what others may do or say that YOU will win YOUR precinct for Ron Paul!

How can we make sure every precinct has a captain? Can the HQ start tracking this? Should we do it ourselves?

Would you trade a few months of your life for the possibility of a lifetime of regret?I was invited tonight to be a precinct captain in MD. I now know my answer and it is yes. Can I use your your sig 'precinct captain. be one.' ? We should all rise to the challenge. It's nothing compared to what our freedom fighters did, or what our military is doing in Iraq and all over the world.
