Let me first explain that being a Ron Paul supporter is extremely difficult (for myself). I am active duty military stationed overseas in Germany, and it would defy all common sense to vote for a candidate that could cost me my career with a downsizing of the Department of Defense. It would make more sense to support a candidate with a pro-military stance on the future, however I've been very attracted to Ron Paul. My heart and soul is vested into Ron Paul's message for the future of the United States. I promise you die hard supporters that i will be supporting a new "pro-military" candidate come "super Tuesday" if we cannot come together and join as one to further Ron Paul's message for Liberty to all. Last night (daytime in Iowa) I called roughly 50-60 Iowa phone numbers (from Europe) to remind them of there right in America to vote, and also heartedly expressed my feelings towards Rep. Ron Paul. It's time every single supporter on this forum do something positive to further the cause of this campaign. Do resist the need to argue another Ron Paul supporter. Believe it or not, we are a small corner of this fight, let's remain brothers and sisters in this contest. As well as our dominant grassroots internet campaigning, we need to get off the computer and do what it takes to "wake up" New Hampshire and America to Ron Paul. As a standby observer on this forum, I'd hate to see you give up. This is only the beginning, and we need to remain positive but forceful in getting recognition for what we all in our hearts believe to be correct, and that is Ron Paul. If every co-worker, boss, employee, neighbor, and friend does not know that you are for Ron Paul then you are a failing. Take a stance, even if you think it's a chance, to represent what America needs to be. We all know (in this forum) that it is Ron Paul. Let everyone else know......

Thanks for your efforts and your post!

I just wanted to mention that I don't think Ron Paul would cost your your career. You'd just be stationed somewhere in the U.S. rather than overseas. ;)

Actually if hes an officer it might. It could even happen with some enlisted spots. You have to move up or move out. If hes passed over twice for an ever shrinking number of O-x spots then you'll loose your commission.

I applaud the Ops commitment to country. There is no bigger fight than the one to preserve personal liberty in the face of an ever increasing government that trumps the constitution. In this election its RP or bust to get that done.

Many parts of the military are already being downsized. Yes, even in times of war, it's all about the budget.

BTW, Ron Paul is pro-military. If you consider starting wars and spreading the troops thin around the world pro-military, you are sadly mistaken.

It was usable for me, printed a 45 page list of everyone in my precinct.

I don't get people who can be so fickle about RP. You'd change your vote to someone who will bring harm on our Country, just because of a few wacko RP supporters? If you'd do this, then you really never got RP in the first place. In four years you'll be back voting for establishment candidates.

Incorrect, military recruitment is on the upswing not the downswing. But like i said, it's not time to argue with one another. We are for the same cause. It is hard to caucus DoD member's on a downsizing of the military, plain and simple. But I'm in continueing support of a smaller but better force. Ron Paul is my candidate.

i wouldn't say ron jeapordizes your career. he is all for a strong military, he just prefers for them to be at home.

think of is this way - what is cheaper, paying for you to be stationed half way around the world, or paying for you to be stationed here at home, in america? think of the good that could be done with the money saved.

thanks for your support.

It's usable, definitely. But I'm hesitant to add notes and stuff until it's live.

I won't get in a long argument with you, but from the Air Force side, it's definitely downsizing. Ever heard of VSP? Voluntary Separation Pay. They're paying people to get out of their commitments early. That's how eager they are.

Perhaps you're in the Army, which could certainly be different. Either way, better to have a smaller force defending our borders than a larger force policing the world.

Wow, welcome! You have the same spunk my husband does...Ron winning could cost him his job as well. But we both know that Ron Paul is best for the country. Thank you for all you do!

This will be my last post here... I'm for Ron Paul, i will continue to spread his message. I thought I'd bring some prospective to this forum as an average (federally tax-funded) employee. You don't "get it"? Yes, I will change my vote, that's natural. I know that's foreign to us here. But i promise i represent my people in this. Wake up and campaign for Ron Paul's message and don't attack me because I "never got RP in the first place". I know what Ron Paul stands for and wanted to let you all know I'm taking a leap to support him. Let's win N.H.!

But i promise i represent my people in this.

That's kind of the problem. When you represent "my people" (in this case, military special interests), you are putting their/your welfare ahead of preserving liberty. Please consider that you can be part of a strong national defense at home, and in peacetime have even greater opportunities for worldwide adventure as a citizen of the wealthiest country in the world.

We need to unite, do not fix what isn't broken, stay with the proven methods of the 4th quarter, and whatever you do, don't make any more moeybomb websites, those of you who are, are killing the method - spammers and video pros needed - get the word out with all guns blazing!

Phase 1: Sign up to donate on January 21, 2008 - http://www.freeatlast2008.com over 3000 people now signed up and growing! - Trevor Lyman and Vijay Boyapati (In memory of Martin Luther King)

Phase 2: Sign up to donate on February 3, 2008 - http://www.libertytax08.com over $15,000.00 in pledges already! - Eric Nordstrom, Republic Magazine, Prison Planet, and an Army of IRS Haters (Make a fist and raise your center finger to the IRS)
