Hey Ron Paul supporters. Love your guy and (much) of what he stands for...;)

I published an op-ed that I thought y'all would want to share with the Ron Paul community.

Here's a link to my piece. Please pass it on:

As the economy tanks, two casualties may be Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. And RP has been GREAT on that issue.

p.s.: you'll notice in the piece I'm not "actively" supporting him. had to include that to get it published....editors prefer the article not to be about a particular candidate, lest it seem partisan. Don't need that to show how dead-on Ron Paul has been with economic issues.

I was just getting ready to post this news.

In 2005, Mr. Paul introduced an amendment in Congress to end the implicit taxpayer guarantee backing Fannie's and Freddie's debt. He said at the time: "I hope my colleagues join me in protecting taxpayers from having to bail out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac when the housing bubble bursts."

These two quasi-government companies will cost the tax payers hundreds of billions to prop up. Ron Paul saw this coming 3 years ago. God help us.

Great article Mr. Winkler! One little thing, is it possible to refer to him as Dr. Paul?
