Listen, and listen well. Cowards retreat at a seeming first defeat. Did you actually believe this was going to be easy. Are not the greatesat events in history the ones that inspire precisely because they went against the grain. If it wasn't difficult, you would never appreciate it or value it. Victory would never taste sweet. You need to put more signs out, more stickers on your cars, talk more about what this campaign truly symbolizes (we are fighting a spiritual battle), and be confident.

Ron needs your support now more than ever. Put your self in his shoes. He needs us. He needs to know that what he represents is real. That it has affected us because it is right. We are fighting because what we are about is RIGHT. Did you get that? People need to know what we are truly proposing for this Country. People have been put to sleep from the constant onslaught of propaganda fed to us by a lost and confused media and diabolical political regime. This enemy is real. Do you actually think our enemy will just lie down? Most of those in opposition to us are just unaware of the trap they have fallen into.

We must wake them up. Wake them up with a message, that same message that woke you up! We don't want you if you do not believe for real what you at first said you did believe. What happend? You need to admit to yourself that in weakness, you faltered a little. We forgive you. COME HOME! Our Country is in danger. Your children are in danger, and their children are going to be in danger. Haven't most of you felt more alive than ever before? It is beacause what you have believed is genuine. Don't lose your fervor. Don't lose your courage. Do not lose your integrity.

And don't waste your time with negative forum comments. We need you. Thank you Ron Paul for giving us this blessed opportunity to take back our Country and again become a people of integrity. Chip Littler, Katy Tx.

This got buried in the flow of messages when many were venting. I think it is important.

Good post, but you might want to edit it and break it into paragraphs. I'm being a dick, but I think a lot of people won't read it because it's an intimidatingly large block of text.

Look, do not place too much importance on the Iowa caucus, it is just noteworthy for the amount of media attention it receives during U.S. presidential election years, and only about one percent of the nation's delegates are chosen by the Iowa state convention.

Between the Evangelicals turning out for a “perceived” Christian like Mike Huckabee, a dumbed-down electorate “voting” for whom they perceive to be “electable”, the MSM belittling and ignoring a fine candidate like Ron Paul, and the fact that Elron Electronics (http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?read=116052) tallied the votes, 10% is not all that bad!

Ron Paul still garnered 10% of the votes, and narrowly missed coming in fourth by only 3,650 votes, and only missed third by 3,923 votes. He also smeared Rudy Giuliani, who just 6 to 8 weeks ago was being pushed by the MSM as the man to beat! Ronald Reagan did not win it in 1980 either.

Quite frankly, it is my belief that the “powers that be” are convoluting and confusing the Republican field as much as possible by first touting one candidate, then another, then somebody else, because what “they” really want, is either an Obama or Clinton presidency, period. And the best way to make sure that it happens is to get confused Americans to nominate a Statist like Romney, Huckabee or Giuliani. All part of “The Plan”.

The Iowa caucus does not determine the next president of the United States. It is a….”putting a finger into the wind” event at best. Ron Paul is well-funded by We The People and is in this thing to win!

We are our harshest cristics. We had HIGH hopes for Iowa, and they didn't quite pan out, but the MSM had LOW expectations for us and now they're finally saying that Ron Paul is in this thing and he will be a contender because the race is wide open. This may be the tipping point afterall...
