The Paul campaign should contact him about appearing at a rally. He could open it by singing "America the Beautiful" or something. How about in Iowa the week before Ames. It'd definitely be good for some media coverage.

More Manilow contributions. (http://www.newsmeat.com/celebrity_political_donations/Barry_Manilow.php)

Clinton, Hillary: $2,300
Edwards, John: $2,300
Actblue: $2,300
Obama, Barack: $2,300

No love for Kucinich :(

So, he donated to Paul on June 21. I wonder what happened. Think he saw Paul on TV somewhere, and did some research on the man?

I was stoked to find that as well, but my enthusiasm was a bit squelched when I realized that he's given to other candidates (mostly Democrats) this election: Biden, Edwards, Obama, and Hillary Clinton.

It looks like he's been a significant Democratic contributor in the past: Barbara Boxer, California State Central Committee, DNC, Dick Gephardt

On the upside, however, his contribution to Ron Paul was the most recent of all his contributions, so perhaps he was "awakened" to/impressed by RP's message?

Well, Well, this is very interesting.

When I was Googling Barry to find out if this is truly Barry Manilow the singer.... Loook what I found.

This is an older list but it looks like Barry has contributed to a lot of campaigns. It looks like mostly democrats. Did Barry have a change of heart after learning about Ron?

I wish we could get Barry M to donate a jingle. He's pretty good at that, you know.
