Everytime someone posts an objective, critical analysis of where we fell short, several users say "oh we did great even though we came in dead last". Yeah, we beat Giuliani, that doesn't mean SHIT. He specifically made it clear he wanted nothing to do with the state. It doesn't matter WHAT percentage we came in, it is still damn near last.

Then these posters criticize how many posts they made in this forum, as though that is some determinate factor in how much someone supports Ron Paul. Here's a hint - posting in this forum doesn't do much to actually bring out the vote. We need this for planning and being connected and formulating plans of attack, but all of the unsubstantiated optimism and making excuses for ourselves is going to sink our ship.

Optimism is great but only when it drives us. When someone proposes a viewpoint that offers us a great opportunity to ensure we actually ACT to ensure we bring in votes, you get called a troll, as though perceived negativity is going to bring down Ron Paul's karma and be the end of us.

We need to toughen up fast, and the best way is to cut the bullshit, be honest with ourselves, and ATTACK. Not, hey, let's email the mainstream media and beg for support, spam this poll, and threaten to take down a company's stock.

Guess what it is time to realize? The polls are scientific, and they are right. We can't look at single-digit polls and make up an excuse to not DO anything to make them higher anymore. Reality just showed us that we can't dream up a revolution, we have to FIGHT for it.

We can start by being honest, objectively, critically analyzing the situation we are engaged in, and formulating an effective, swift plan of ACTION.

We need to bring in the vote!

Let's toughen up and do this thing. The revolution has not lost, but we have had a great opportunity to realize what we need to WIN.

Now, let's look to the polls. The polls are our GUIDE to winning. Our numbers in the polls are an ACCURATE reflection of how people that actually vote WILL vote.

So, how do we reach these people that are voting? Obviously, the pollsters reach them, because they convey a pretty damn accurate portrait of how the voting will result.

They reach them through the telephone!

Now, most of us are not in the states where all of the action is. We should definitely be coordinating efforts to direct our funds into these grass-roots efforts to reach people in this state through the television and the radio. Donating the money to the official campaign will probably hurt us at this point, as we are far more capable of reaching the people than they are. Ron Paul's message states that a centralized institution cannot, cannot, CANNOT be anywhere near as effective as the decentralized efforts of the grass-roots, of individuals networking together and accomplishing things!

We've demonstrated this in our fundraising. Now we realize that raising funds for the official campaign is NOT going to turn out votes! We have the POWER to win this, but we have so far focused on the WRONG efforts to turn out votes!

This isn't any failing of our own. We've done EXACTLY what we've needed to do to get this campaign where it is today, and to get us to a place where we can STILL win! :)

The fact is though, that we have to play hardball now. This isn't about some hippie, optimism fest, full of dreams and excuses of how this will go down for us. We have to MAKE it happen!

So, let's coordinate all of our efforts and funds into the newspapers, radio, and television of these states! Let's utilize the telephone and the contacts that the polls use to ACCURATELY determine how people will vote to BRING them to vote for Ron Paul! We need to do this in an organized, effective manner, and the only way we can get great at it is to DIVE right in and get cold, hard experience!

In fact, since most of us can't get directly involved in each state, going door to door, canvassing and rallying and organizing our support to bring them into vote for Ron Paul, we should be using the telephone, all of us, to reach as many people as we can that can vote, and engage them!

It works! The ONLY reason Ron Paul got 10% is because the polls showed our support increasing in Iowa to that point! This happened because we actually focused on REACHING these people!

Iowa was NOT a disappointment, because it shows us everything we need to know to WIN, to put Ron Paul into the White House and save America! Iowa isn't to be written off with excuses and an optimistic look towards how everything will work out for us going forward. The simple fact that we placed 5th behind John McCain and Fred Thompson makes it TOUGHER for us in New Hampshire. The simple fact that Obama took Hillary in Iowa makes it TOUGHER for us in New Hampshire, because Obama is playing into the same independent demographic that WE play into.

We can still do this, but we have to FIGHT. Those of us on the forum that wanted to daydream the revolution and do it from the comfort of our keyboard, MYSELF INCLUDED, need to get active and reach those who WILL vote, regardless of whether or not they are voting for Ron Paul or anyone else. We need to enlighten them as to why Ron Paul will SAVE America!

So, let's get started. I'm sure we should have no problem chipping in on cheap long distance phone cards bought over the internet to ensure that everyone here that can't get active in any of these crucial states CAN BRING IN THE VOTES.

We only have days. We need a coordinated effort for reaching the people in New Hampshire that the polls reach. Let's get ourselves a forum so we can organize an effective calling strategy. We need our talking points right in there as well as access to our calling lists.

We don't have the time to dream up a revolution. It doesn't work, Iowa proves this.

I'm not selling ourselves short or being negative. I'm speaking out for Ron Paul here. Reality has shown us the way for us to act so that reality will unfold with Ron Paul in the White House. WE HAVE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Whew that was exhausting. :D

Huckabee beat us with organization through a common theme.

We have to create our own, Christianity isn't going to help us. :D

Very true. Enough is enough, time to accept that this is a hard slog, that some magic hidden vote will save us.

Speaking of TV ads.... We only have a couple of days to raise the funds to air these ads.
