Foreword: Rasmussen polled Huckabee in first and Romney in second like the results and all of their polls were within 5% of the final result for each candidate. A large margin, however they were closer then most to the final tally.
NATIONAL RASMUSSEN POLL - JANUARY 3rd
18% - Romney (+2%)
17% - McCain
16% - Huckabee
13% - Guliani (-2%)
13% - Thompson (+1%)
7% - Paul
COMMENTS
McCain has gathered the most momentum recently. He is up 5% over the last two weeks. Huckabee has lost 9% from his all time high two weeks ago, but he is stabalizing. Guliani's campaign is in a total free fall, down 10% in a month (steady downtrend). Thompson is consistently polling around around 12% down a slight bit from a month ago, but overall within the margin of error.
Paul jumped up to 7% in the last week (was hovering around 5%) and has held steady for about a week.
It'll be interesting to see Rasmussen's latest polling results in a few days. Should reflect some of the Iowa results and hopefully give us an idea of where New Hampshire is heading.
