Over 60% of Iowa caucus goers claimed to be evangelical Christians...compared to 8-30% of the entire rest of the country....this is why Huck won. Iowa is a very poor representation of the rest of the country.
Ron Paul has won more straw polls across the country than any other GOP running, but we placed 5th in Iowa....same as we did in the Caucuses. 5th... Huckabee and Romney dominated the straw poll in Iowa as well....
Now if we get a 1st place in every state where Ron Paul won the straw polls....we will be in good shape.
We NEVER had a shot at Iowa, and some people on here kept trying to tell others not to get their hopes too high, but people did it anyway.....Iowa was one of the WORST straw poll results Ron Paul had all year...sorry to those who thought we would win the first state, but it wasn't going to happen....we have 49 more states to go...MANY that Ron finishes #1 in the straw polls...
Get a grip, calm down....we were NEVER going to do as well in Iowa as we will elsewhere.
