Let's try to get to #5 as fast as possible

1. Denial: The initial stage: "It can't be happening."
2. Anger: "Why me? It's not fair."
3. Bargaining: "Just let me live to see my children graduate."
4. Depression: "I'm so sad, why bother with anything?"
5. Acceptance: "It's going to be OK."

I'm still at #2 and if RP doesn't fire anyone I'll be stuck here for a while...5th place is horrendous.

I wouldn't say horrendous. But, it's worth getting upset at the campaign about. I wouldn't call it grief, however.

Let me correct that...the fact that RP lost to John McCain is horrendous and either shows the ineptness of the campaign or the ignorance of Iowans...PROBABLY BOTH!

it might be a little foolish, because it is kind of a cop out to say that it was beyond our control...

but i really do think the fact that it really was just not our state played a big role. we could have tried to drag more supporters, we could blame the campaign for not doing their job as well as they could have.

but i think it was a lot of factors. i mean there was a RECORD turnout in a state that we didnt really have a strong foothold in. we had SO much going against us.

lets just try to look at ALL the factors that caused this and figure out what we can do about preventing as many of these factors from affecting us in any other state they may apply to.
