We all love Ron Paul and are putting our hearts into getting him supported. Consequently, we are really sensitive about how many people we win to our camp, and a lot of us were really hoping and praying we would be able to really show the world how legitimate this outstanding man really is.
TNFreedom made a really great point (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=74430) in saying that the rest of the American public has perceived Ron Paul as a weirdo fringe candidate regardless of how good or bad his message is. I know for me, before I had heard of Ron Paul, my brother in law was a heavy duty libertarian and I thought he was a nut-job. It was only after hearing Ron Paul and rethinking through the issues that I realized just how important it is to fight for our freedom, why this preemptive war is antithetical to everything our founding fathers stood for, and why Ron Paul truly is the Thomas Jefferson of our day.
Nobody can dispute the fact that he is the most consistent among all the candidates. He's a Christian and you can see that he's a very principled man, married 50 years to a very sweet woman, a family man, and truly has nothing to hide. What you see is what you get. I LOVE that!
I'm really proud to be part of this movement, I believe whether Ron Paul gets elected or not, Ron Paul has truly made a historic effect on our country, especially me. Ron Paul truly has cured my apathy. I believe that the truth is so powerful that if we can convince people to open their minds to it for even a moment, there's no going back. It's like taking the red pill. You can't unlearn the truth about the state of our nation. We will now focus on New Hampshire and we will FIGHT to get a great turn out, and we will FIGHT to make Ron Paul the 44th President of the United States of America.
Every poll over the last few months shows him steadily increasing in support. The meetups keep growing. The MySpace friends keep growing. The Facebook friends keep growing. Every money bomb gets better. Remember how excited we were for raising a whopping $1m when RP only asked for $5 in the last week of the third quarter?
BE ENCOURAGED: We beat Rudy, the former frontrunner. Iowa is a VERY evangelical state and we still did well.
Now is the time for ALL of us to move on, consider the Iowa caucus as history, mobilize and really make a difference. Each one of us can make a huge difference! I have brought at least 14 people to Ron Paul, and if each one of us at least fights to introduce all our friends to Ron Paul, I believe we WILL prevail. We will have a president who truly inspires us, who we are PROUD of, who we can be confident will truly serve the people.
