Cheer up, Iowa does not represent the entire country. 60% of republican caucus goers said they were evangelical Christians, the rest of the country is at 8%+ Most of them believe the terrorist boogie man will kill them if we are not at constant war. 10% is very good in the environment of Iowa.
Almost two-thirds of Republicans polled before the caucus said that they were evangelical Christians, a group that is a small minority in the rest of the country. (Evangelical Christians comprise between 8 percent and 35 percent of the US population.)

So that explains how we lose to Huckabee. It does NOT explain how we get fifth place.

Agreed. I have to place blame on the Campaign for this. They did not use the funds we raised wisely for Iowa to get the message out.

True. They are also an older demographic.
Also, Iowa is 7% non-White, rest of America is 31% non-White.
Little interesting stats.
