Our friends at Hotline made this excellent point: We all know by now that Paul has more cash on hand than McCain. But he also has more cash on hand than seven other presidential hopefuls combined (Tancredo, Brownback, Huckabee, Kucinich, Hunter, T. Thompson, and Gravel).

Not really worth a digg from me. It's a pretty minor article.

I almost didn't know who the article was about at first. I'd come to think of "Longshot" as Dr. Paul's first name. :D

As an aside, I read through the comments and saw something noteworthy. The lone dissenter who made the crude and inaccurate comment about Dr. Paul's views on SS was not shouted down, but reasoned with and presented with an alternative viewpoint. And, even more unusual for a political comment thread, he had the integrity to say that he "stands corrected." Wow. Thanks for all who posted there (I know it must have been some from these boards) for representing the doctor and the rest of us so well and for showing how ideas and not shouting matches can change minds.
