look at all the media quotes.
"Seems Ron Paul has pretty much smoked Rudy in Iowa."
"There was a spirited race for third between Fred Thompson, John McCain, and even Ron Paul."
"Ron Paul, who just got into double digits in Iowa, proved there are voters as well as donors who prefer limited government and a more modest foreign policy, should do better there."
" Ron Paul not only besting Rudy Giuliani, but doing so by more than 2-to-1"

they all keep saying something about the strong RP showing...

while we may have set expectations high for ourselves, the media is still impressed.

It was basically a three way tie for third.

We didn't get third, but we only got /one/ less delegate than those that did. It's not bad at all. I don't see why all those guys were bitching.

Those are predicted numbers. Those delegates have not been selected yet. We have quite a few delegates from the precincts, and MANY alternates, from what I have read on here. I think we stand a good chance at getting more than 2.

Yeah, this has basically turned into a three way tie for third with McThompson leading slightly.

I think this actually isn't bad at all. We just need to immediately analyze our weaknesses and address them. We need to focus on next primary states, and we need to improve our organizational ability.

This reminds me of when I saw Paul in the first Fox Debate against Rudy and got all the boos. I felt a knot in my stomach because of the initial boos. Then I saw the reaction from everyone outside of the "bubble", lol.

Do not let them pacify you with their pleasantries. We were overconfident and are still fighting an uphill battle. Keep working.

Some number quotes that popped up on the MSNBC analysis.

Paul got 30% of the independant vote

Paul got 20% of the vote from voters under the age of 30

We got something to build from. The winners were people that made sounds like they would go against the status quo. If they can come to see only Paul will truly stop the loss of our liberties, those numbers will grow. For NH, there is a good chance with it's large independent electorate to net victory.

I don't know about you guys,,, but I am MUCH more motivated now than I was before the vote. We can no longer afford to sit on our computers. We need to get out there and make it happen.
