I haven't seen any threads on it, and they have their convention on Saturday. Does anyone know how we're looking out there?

"Ron Paul Wins Straw Poll in Wyoming on October 28
Posted October 29th, 2007 by ajwyoming

The Laramie County Republican Party in Cheyenne, Wyoming just held a straw poll with these results for the top 4 candidates:

Ron Paul 49
Thompson 25
Duncan Hunter 15
Mitt Romney 14

Our speaking guests included Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter, who were introduced by Wyoming's U.S. Senators Mike Enzi and John Barasso.
We also had guests speak on behalf of Romney and Thompson. The event was a $50 dinner, and each vote in the straw poll cost $8 to benefit the Laramie County Republican Party. The votes for Guiliani, McCain, Huckabee, and Tancredo were too low to bother reporting.

This dinner followed a successful rally for Ron Paul in downtown Cheyenne with hundreds of enthusiastic supporters and a successful fundraiser for Ron Paul at the Plains Hotel."

If trees could vote I think Ralph Nader would have won in 2000 lol. But from what I understand is RP is quite popular in Wyoming and with Wyoming having a low population we have a good chance for a strong showing.

Go here for a donor map for the US:

http://www.ronpaulgraphs.com/donors.html

Wyoming looks to have good per capita support - now it's just a matter of helping to translate that into real votes. Tonight should be a wakeup call to everyone to make sure to help in the future states by brining friends along to vote (or caucus), helping others see the superiority of Ron Paul's message, and just generally getting the message out on the street.

So, anyone who lives in Wyoming, be sure to organize with your fellow supporters and show up at the polls.

Also, according to http://www.ronpaul2008.com/straw-poll-results/ , a WY straw poll taken back at the end of October was pretty good. Ron Paul got 48% (but of course, this was a small sample size).

Yes, I just hope that we can place well. And now that we have an air force (complete with blimp) in NH, how can we not right? :)

BTW, Alaska is also very green (and huge!), but isn't visible on the map with default zoom/pan settings.
