View Full Version : Reach out to Huck's people

Huck's campaign is not going the distance. Huck has strong support from one-issue evangelical voters, but he he doesn't have the money or the national base to mount a serious campaign.

The Paul grassroots should be reaching out to the Huck supporters, and trying to make them comfortable with backing Paul, because they are going to be looking for a home when Huck falters.

Be nice to Huckabee, and Huckabee fans. Congratulate them on their outstanding success in Iowa. Point out the similarities between Paul and Huckabee. They both want to end personal income tax. They both criticize the current Bush administration. They are both pro-life. They are both strong in defending religious freedom. Go to a Huck rally in your RP gear and tell people "If Paul wasn't in the race, I'd be voting for Huckabee", and so forth.

We can convert these people to Paul supporters, but we're not going to do that by disparaging their faith or dissing their candidate.

Hucks going to get some prop-age from cooperate types.. maybe even a lot with Democrat tenancies. He'll hold out for a while in the south and hes not going anywhere before Feb5th no matter how hobbled he will be. IT may come down to a brokered convention for his delegates though. We should keep campaigning the evangelicals.

Let me say one thing first. Hucks people does not mean the huck forums. from what iv seen today hucks voters are old people and evangelical christians. if you come across voters who identify themselves as evangelical christians and likely huck supporters talk to them accordingly. once again dont just go post on the huck forums and think that you have done your job. go out and talk to the real voters out there.
