View Full Version : Good News... Ron Paul WON out of independents, which is great news for New Hampshire.

My guess is that a lot of independents in Iowa probably didn't want to go through the trouble of going to a caucus. Ron Paul, however, bested all of the other GOP candidates with 29% of the independents.

IN New Hampshire, a much larger percentage of Independents will probably vote in the primaries. Most of New Hampshire is independent!

How many Independents voted for Obama?

More than for Ron Paul. They said on MSNBC that if independents hadn't voted at all, Obama only would have beat Clinton by 1%. However, a LOT more independents will vote in New Hampshire than those who bothered to show up to the Iowa Caucus. The Caucus is more for die-hard partisans.

i think the most significant part of the exit polls was hucks 56% of the people intervied thnk that religion maters it just help with the iowans a evangelicals not voting on issues

I don't know how many independents got out in Iowa, but I did hear earlier that there are more independents than dmes or Reps in Iowa.
