It was definetly not a bad night for RP, but the media has hyped the Iowa primaries up so much that it seems like whoever wins there wins the nomination. I think RP placing 5th will keep alot of RP supporters at home or vote for somone else in the upcoming primaries.
I hope i am very very wrong but it seems like this election is controlled much more by the media then i have ever seen before.
I hope the "real" support of nearly $20 million in the 4th qauter show up for game time and not fall to there knees because they see a 5th place finish in Iowa.
I will still vote for RP no matter what because you vote for somone you agree with and believe in...you shouldnt base your vote on who is the "front runnner" on Fox News.
But i think RP needs a 3rd or 2nd place finish at the least in the next 3 states or he will be done...i really am not trying to be negative I LOVE RON PAUL but i really think if he doesnt get a 2nd or 3rd place finish in the next 3 states most of his supporters will not come out to vote.
Go RP and i pray you win!
