Jefferson county JUST reported their official totals.

Before the official total came in, http://libertybroadcastnetwork.org/default.aspx had their "citizen" count up, putting Paul in first with 298 votes.

Interestingly, Jefferson country reported exactly the same results. Not a single vote got lost between the citizen count and the official count in Jefferson county.

This tells us that the reports from other areas in the state are probably very close to the actual votes. It also tells us that the citizen count is very accurate and is not being tricked in any way.

LBN is reporting Paul finishing MUCH closer to McCain and Thompson so far, and I just saw a huge jump in Paul's numbers. :) We might see fourth or third tonight, but the important thing is that we know we got out there and put up something credible. And in all likelihood, we completely owned the delegate counts.

This means that in the national convention Iowa will actually probably give Dr. Paul votes, and not Huckabee. Unfortunately the propaganda value of a "win" in Iowa may be worth more for the time being than actual delegates, but we shall see.

On to New Hampshire, where I shall relish seeing Huck in 5th or 6th.
