similar race, party divide, lots of different candidates won states, in fact maybe 3 or 4 candidates won states in that one.

Goldwater suffered a demoralizing loss in NH yet came back when the western states came into play.

true, primaries are not about one state .......
but i guess the disappointment is because people were hoping that the revolution made a bigger impact ...... and hoping the polls were totally wrong .......

no big deal. the straw polls are right. we're still on pace with them.

do you think nevada is going to elect huckabee? or oregon? remember, these blue states have republican primaries and caucuses too ;)

Its the message not the 1st state. Iowa only used to be important because it could knock off candidates from funding. Not possible with the financing Ron Paul has, the Internet, and grassroots. Hence, Iowa isn't significant like it used to be.
