Duncan Hunter Q2 Results

Hunter raised $814k and spent $874k in Q2 and now has $213k on hand.

I'm surprised he raised this much...maybe it's all that California dough.

He's burning it up, though - he spent over $400k on telemarketing fees even though he's one of the only candidates I've never had a call from. Weird.

Ron Paul has 10 times the $ that Hunter has and Hunter has been very scarce in Iowa.

Someone has to finish last in the Ames Straw Poll and I predict that will be Hunter.

dave, how are things going in iowa for dr. paul in regards to the straw poll? i know romney has a pretty large lead it seems and is blanketing the state with money, but is dr. paul going to be able to give him a run?

Hunter is concentrating on NH (not that he's having much effect there either).
