For me, I caught him on the tonight show and while it wasnt his strongest performance, it definately peaked my interest. I started watching some videos of him on YouTube to try and learn more and found that I couldnt get enough of his speaches. Freedom really is a powerful message.

I caught him on the Daily Show and Colbert Report. You know...the real news programs.

saw a random revolution banner at a park in louisiana. They had a gigantic fair going on that day and my and my buddies were VERY confused about what was going on lol

one of them mentioned ron paul and we figured out what it was. Since we were their with my fraternity (lambda chi alpha) we later find out that ron is also a lambda chi and right then and there we had about 30 converts!

This was many many months ago

back in 2004 I watched a video lecture my younger brother randomly downloaded from a bit torrent list.

i was already getting into politics and was about level 2 but this took me straight to level 5, the ultimate deep end.

ron paul was interviewed about the patriot act towards the end of it.

here it is http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=8797525979024486145

the most important video I've ever watched

My best friend in college was a congressional page in high school. He told me about this guy 'Ron Paul' who he had talked to a few times, who used to sit him down and tell him about the 'good old days'. That same friend turned me onto Harry Browne and Libertarianism. It didn't quite stick for a while, but I did remember Ron's name, saw a few of his columns in Worldnetdaily (yes, these guys used to publish many of Ron's 'Texas Straight Talk' columns ), and I've followed him ever since. I never thought it would lead me to where I am today. I'm about to go knock on peoples doors and tell them about this guy?!?!!

Amazing, amazing.
