My thoughts:
It seems huge multinational corporations are big authoritarian structures imposing there will on the US government that then imposes it's super power onto the rest of the planet. Making sure no 3rd world country rises up independently to make a good example for other poor nations to follow.
Does neo-liberalism provide thriving grounds for these entities to grow and become the monsters they are or are we not neo-liberal enough right now to the point where all the freedom and competition would hold back the size of these authoritarian structures?
Why do we have authoritarian structures in the first place. Shouldn't we abolish all forms of forcing people to do things they don't want to do in order to feed themselves? Basically oppression. Basically capitalism????
