Campaigning with Lieberman, McCain said the media would decide the relevance of a Romney win in Iowa. He seems to be admitting a media 'surge' can propel any candidate.
McCain refused to hazard a guess if a Romney win tonight in Iowa would catapult him to a victory in New Hampshire on Tuesday or if a Romney defeat in Iowa would give McCain more of a New Hampshire spurt.
"I honestly don't know. That's up to the media to make those decisions. I don't know how the results affect New Hampshire," McCain said.
How in the world could Lieberman be a benefit to anyone seeking office?
