What's my precinct?

I got an email to sign up as a precinct captain and did, but I have no idea how to find my precinct. It's just a bunch of numbers. Anybody know?

CA..I just don't know how to find the number and the google search the campaign site sends me to is useless.

if you go to Ronpaul2008.com and join as precinct captain, the site will tell you your precinct as you sign up.

That's exactly what I did, and no, the site just asks me to choose my precinct, and lists about 800 different numbers, and gives me no indication as to what my precinct actually is. They have all my address info so I don't know why it can't just use that to pump out the number.

For some reason it's hard to find out your own precinct number. Here in Texas there's a different web site to search for each county, if there even is one.

Just google around and throw in keywords like "whats my precinct number in california?" and you'll find it.

thats for the Iowa Caucus...this really shouldnt be hard but obviously it is. I'm also super busy at work so maybe I'll be able to do this later when I can focus more, just didnt know if anyone had a 'quick link' to get me there.

and ask your state HQ how to find out your precinct - make sure they confirm that they have you down as a precinct captain. They should be able to email you a map of your precinct as well.
