I just heard on NPR that the writer's guild of America had signs that said and they were chanting "Don't scab me Huckabee" right outside the Jay Leno show yesterday.

Huck is playing dumb on this. So what is new??? Why do the Democrats think they have a bird in the hand if Huckabee gets in???

Thing is, he was approached before he went on Leno, he chose to continue. The proper solution would have been to cancel. He talks out both sides of his mouth...

Paul crossed the picket line to do Leno also. He of course didn't make some statement to the effect that he endorsed what the writer's guild was doing and then proceeded to cross the line.

Well you're going to have to provide a link for this now.

Once the strike started, The Tonight Show stopped.

Nope. That was before the strike.

Did he cross the picket line when he was on the view or did the view work out a deal with the wga?

That was the view and not Leno.

I did not know the view had writers.

isn't the whole idea of a picket line to keep other employess or scabs from working for the picketed firm? RP and the Huck were merely guests on a show, they weren't there to take the writers jobs.

The Democrats suck up to the unions as lip service only. bla bla bla......

Leno did a great job last night even without his writers, he's a members of the SAG so technically he wasn't even allowed to write any of his jokes down before the show started which made things even more last minute. Huckabee did a decent job, no big surprises and the questions all seemed pretty simple and somewhat planned.

The View requires writers?
