Maybe do an exit poll or something so that we can get a paper record of how people voted and then if the "official" results don't match (or at least very close) we have some evidence of vote manipulation. What do you guys think?

It's imperative, IMO. Exit polls have been shown to be accurate to a fraction of a percent. If you have exit poll results, it makes for a much better case to contest computerized results when those results are grossly different.

I would rather contest the whole electronic voting issue early on than wait to discover that the primary elections were rigged and face that uphill battle.

Since I have believed all along that Al Gore is definitely 'one of them', and I positively believe that so is Kerry, and neither one of them contested the obviously rigged 2000 and 2004 elections, this may be the first time that electronic polling is contested on a national level.

We need computer-savvy people who understand the digits of it all, as well as accurate and credible exit polls. This is as important as getting the votes in the first place.

That was done in the 2000 presidential election with Gore (and possibly 2004 with Kerry). Nothing came out of it though, as I don't think MSM reported on it. "Get over it" was MSM's message.

Just like that precinct in Ohio that only had about 500 people in it, yet 3893 votes went to Bush. Ooops! Obviously, they caught this instance, but are we really supposed to believe that this was an "isolated" incident? Especially when the exit polls had Kerry winning. Just makes you wonder how much more of this kind of stuff went on. I bet it happened with the larger precincts, but no one was ever caught.

Just read that usatoday article I posted up there. It's no wonder people do not trust the electronic voting system in this country. I suppose they thought everybody would just be stupid and accept the results.

1. If you do an exit poll, first you have to make sure you do it at the event, which will require you renting a well placed table at the straw poll and possibly asking permission (make sure to read the contract and any rules/regulations they have thoroughly).
2. Make sure to make it anonymous like the real poll.
3. Make sure it is run/endorsed by a third party like black box voting.
4. Make sure everything is recorded (the ballot boxes empty, the voting booths stocked with a single ballot each time someone votes), every person that votes (counted to make sure it matches the vote total at the end; faces blurred out for people who you did not get permission from).
5. Make sure no one can vote again and, if possible, that the person has already "officially" voted.
6. Make sure to get a majority to participate (your case's credibility will be exponentially related to how many participate). In order to do this, you will need to get public exposure before the event, especially exposure in trusted sources like local papers, radio, and TV. You will also need at least a dozen supporters to channel people to the exit voting booths and convince them to do it and more to run the process, secure the voting area, record the entire process, and punch their ticket so they can't vote again.

1,3, and 6 need to be worked on immediately. If enough of you guys are interested and motivated to help (who can be there in Iowa), I'll put my weight behind this.
