*****If you want your own blimp? Here's the man to call: Mike Sandlin 619-787-1227 He is the awesome rep who was SO HELPFUL in helping us to get this blimp up in San Diego! These blimps are well worth the investment in advertising punch! And they're fun!

$2K for one of those babies? Dayuhm....

If I had the loot, I'm be sporting one in my yard right now.
I'll bet the city would have a hard time figuring out how to deal with that ordinance. :D

The guy at the end is Mike, the leader of the San Diego Meetup group. Awesome guy.

Right there was worth the 2,000 they spent on it. Her home is in a great location for it too.

Thanks for posting this!!

If you get 100 Meetup members to pitch in $20, then you've got two grand...and if you have a good location it would be worth it.

I just can not capture it....I can't figure it out.

Does a person need special software to do that and stick it on YouTube?

....I guess someone else will do it. I like sending links to videos to family and friends when they are on you tube.

People are much more willing to click on a link that is that of youtube...

I saw it! Was awesome! (We're on vacation here, as explained in the JustOneJoe.com thread)

It was very visible! I've seen lots of great signs around town here! In very good locations, usually just as you get off of a freeway. (of which there are lots out here)

Tomorrow is going to be fun! We'll be driving back home and I'll be listening to the radio for any updates...

Anyone know her, and know how big that blimp is and where she got it?

My ex lives about 200ft from interstate 80... she needs something big and high enough that it can be seen over the trees that seperate her property from the interstate.

I can get her in touch with you if you would like. She's active on the Meetup email list for San Diego. PM me your email address and/or phone.

OMFG, WE NEED TO HAVE A GROUP BUY FOR THESE!!

That way we can probably get each one for under $500.00!

The one we ordered measures 20' long and has a volume of 370 cubic feet of helium. It comes with a light kit that allows us to illuminate it at night, a 120 ft. tether and electric cord, a helium fill hose, and artwork on both sides.

The cost was $1642.

Not included was shipping (about $80) and helium, which we will have to buy locally and have to recharge the blimp with about once every 10 days for $150-$200. We purchased it from Arizona Balloon Company [www.arizonaballoon.com] in Glendale, AZ.

Get yours!
