50% of those I know have donated. That's why I think the voter/donor ratio thing is way too optimistic. Ron Paul supporters put there money where there hearts are.

I converted my brother, and he donated the same day! My Uncle was converted, but hasnt donated as far as i know.(was hard for him to come over from the hard core democrat camp). My Mother wants to stay registered as a democrat in NJ, so she can vote in the local democratic primaries, but she would definately vote for Dr. paul in November, if he gets the nomination. Those are my three confirmed converts (not counting my wife).

The number of people who vote for a candidate always way out numbers those that donate. This poll is only useful to guage financial support amongst the people that know an enthusiastic supporter, not to guage broad voter support.

The amount of people we do not know, who are going to vote for Dr Paul, is immense. We should not flatter ourselves to think we know everyone.

If you really want to guage broad support, go hold a sign on a street corner and see how many thumbs up you get. :)
