Email I just wrote to "him":

For all your anti-lobbyist, anti-special interest, anti-war, pro-civil liberty points, you don't even make a mention to Ron Paul for president in 08?

Are you really that die-hard a Democrat that you can't look outside of those candidates?

You forget, he's also pro-welfare, pro-illegal immigrant, anti-business, etc etc.

Good point!
But I think Ron Paul message needs more efforts in order to be more recognized.
Democrates now are so busy listening to their candidates Obama Hillary and Edoward, and unfortunately some people think that Ron Paul dose not have a chance to win and that is why they feel their votes would be wasted.
Therefore We need to make a big impact and surprise everybody, if Paul score a victory in the primary I believe his message will be heard by alot of democrats, and the door will be wide open to be the next president very easily.

Michael Moore is a propagandist.
This statement is not fair!

it is fair.. most of what he says isn't very truthful.
he's only really good at creating debates not adding useful information.

I think he genuinely believes the stuff he spews, and he has good intentions. He is however, horribly misguided and narrow in his view points.

Michael Moore is like those socialists Hayek talks about in Road to Serfdom....a person with (perhaps) good intentions that ends up bringing a Stalin-type leader to power.

In his newest film, Sicko, he is shown standing in front of and smiling at a statue of Karl Marx.

his movies are good at exposing flaws and failures, but his solutions are usually awful.

Michael Moore blamed Charlton Heston for Columbine and left pictures of the victims in the man's house just because Heston supports the 2nd amendment. He's the biggest douchebag on the planet, and people are starving in Africa because of him. (He isn't there right now handing out food. Bastard!)

He is most certainly a giant socialist weasel.

He is not supposed to provide solutions Sir, that is not his job!

And what the useful information you provided us here and right now? you are trying to generalize the accusations without stating any facts according to your statement.
I think he did a better job than you just did now!

I must admit. The "documentary" Sicko made a great case for government run health care.

Not.

Moore would never support Paul because Moore thinks government is the solution to our problems.

I keep telling that to people all the time but I don't think they understand.

Hitler had good intentions... ;)

Michael Moore also says the Universal Health Care would only cost 300 Billion dollars. Of course he forgets that Medicare and Medicade currently already cost way more than that combined and it doesn't cover everyone.

I was home with the folks in Traverse City MI over NY's, and I had the opportunity to meet Michael Moore. He lives around there, and has been heavily involved in a local theater and film festival (http://www.traversecityfilmfest.org/)Festival. So when I went to see the film Juno at the State Theater, he was hanging out in the lobby. I walked up to him and chatted him up.

I've talked to him a few times before, and I know his politics - he's a die-hard Dem. I knew I couldn't come straight out and try to win him over to RP. I told him that I loved Sicko, asked him who he'd endorse for prez, and stated that I didn't think that the top 3 Dem candidates were not anti-war enough - so what about Ron Paul? He said "oh Ron Paul, everyone likes Ron Paul", then he said that he hadn't really thought about who he was going to endorse, but would be issuing a statement today.

What's kind of funny is that I had some RP slim jims with me, but on the way to the theater they fell out of my pocket and into the mud. Crap! I could have given one to Michael Moore himself!!!

BTW - MM is actually a very gracious and personable guy when you meet him. He doesn't travel around with a security detail or retinue. It's just him there disheveled and engaging. Pretty cool.

If you want to kill Paul's chances at the nomination, I say go for it.

+10000000

An endorsement by Moore would be the worst possible thing for a Republican candidate. Most repubs (like myself) are completely turned off by him and consider him an idiot.

Remember, were seeking the REPUBLICAN nomination, meaning we need to appeal to Republican voters.

In the general election maybe, but in the primaries it would burry us.

I consider MM a hardcore big gov't socialist and he has the ear of some of my less informed, yet stubborn friends. A RP endorsement would be hilarious because they would sooner listen to him than me pointing out the facts.
