A path to 23 million
Q4 Facts (from RonPaul2008.com):
130,000 donors
$19.5 million
$90 average donation
Calculations:
Maximum possible Maxed out Donors = 8478 ($19,500,000 / $2300)
Donations = 216,667 ($19,500,000 / $90 per donation)
Avg Donations per Donor = 1.67 (216,667 donations /130,000 donors)
Assumptions:
Estimated non-maxed out Q4 Donors = 125,000
Average Donation to reach 4 million/wk = $32
If we could mobilize/organize the 125,000 non maxed out Q4 donors to donate just an average of $32 per week, we could raise $4,000,000 per week. This was the ultimate goal when I envisioned Ron Paul’s Payday. There are 5 Fridays left between now and Super Tuesday (Jan 4,11,18,25, and Feb 1). This would raise 20 million by Feb 1st. Given the fact that the Ron Paul is already getting 1.67 donations per donor it shouldn’t be that hard to get them to donate again. This also doesn't include new donors that are picked up along the way.
Where would the last $3 mill come from you ask? Well, we should be able to rely on the official campaign for this much from off-line donations after Dr. Paul’s strong showing in the early primaries.
