Look, I don't like these guys any more than most of you do. For the most part, They've sold out conservatism. But they are very important to us, and that's why it is great Dr. Paul was able to go on Hannity for a civil interview today. The Revolution is still gaining strength. We are not strong enough, particularly in the Republican party, to try to overpower Rush, Hannity, and the rest of the Bush-deluded establishment (yet). But like most establishment types, Hannity, Rush, etc. respect and fear power-- They sense our momentum and they are trying to play nice(r) . We should let them.

Like it or not, huge numbers of core Republican primary voters listen to Hannity and Rush. Many of them are potential converts-- But most are not particularly independent thinkers (that's why they are not in our camp yet) They need to be given "permission" by Hannity and Rush that you can vote for Ron Paul and be a good Republican. It is important for these guys to say that they are OK with us being the nominee. It's important for Dr. Paul to be on their shows. That way, if it is late in the game, we don't have these guys on the radio 24x7 bashing RP and getting all of the fence-sitters to come vote against us)

Huckabee decided to cross all of these guys when his poll numbers were a lot higher than ours and he is now paying the price. He won't be the nominee, no matter what he does in Iowa. Hannity, Rush, etc. are never going to love Dr. Paul,, but Dr. Paul is a conservative and they can support us on a lot of issues outside of Iraq.

We don't need to get involved in "entangling alliances" with others against Hannity, Rush, Beck or whoever else.We need to follow the principal rule of realist statecraft. The Revolution "has no friends or enemies, only interests"

Our interest is in pushing forward Dr. Paul's ideas and getting him elected President. If playing nice sometimes with Rush and Hannity helps accomplish that, we'll do it. If playing mean sometimes with them helps accomplish our goals, then we'll do that too. Reward good behavior. Punish bad behavior-- and get out the vote to show our strength.

That's how we win, ladies and gentlemen.

Do not ever forget they ran a "he cant win" strategy up until the night of the first vote.

Never forget it.

spot on!

A Hannity and/or a Rush conversion would practically guarantee the nomination.

I agree completely, that is why we need to be professional and respectful. Whether it be calling in/emailing in/rallying etc!

I fully agree with this. However, if our guy prevails and Limbaugh and Hannity decide to throw their support to him, don't ever forget that WE led and THEY followed!
