Was anyone else surprised that Wolf said Ron Paul raised 20 million on the situation room today when in reality it was more like 19.5?

no, Wolf is lazy and does not want to say 2 extra syllables.

Maybe the campaign didn't add in all the offline donations before they changed the ticker and we really did get $20m+ last quarter.

But, my point is 20 million sounds ALOT better than 19.5 million.

No. It's easier to round it to twenty.

He might also have a little more in offline donations. Remember that anything that is postmarked the day of the 31st counts toward the total.

I get what you are saying. Up until now they have been short-changing the numbers. They usually report less than what RP really has. Now all of a sudden, CNN is being generous to us. I am not 100% sure of what is going on, but I find it rather interesting.

The $19.5Mill is online stuff. They haven't counted the offline donations, but said it will be close to $20Million.

And they like to round out the numbers and keep it simple.

I think Blitzer is just honest in the grand scheme of things. However, perhaps CNN hearing about the Fox News thing wants to come out behind Paul and then slam Fox for being jerkoffs.
