Rudy has become very, very desperate now, with this hateful, xenophobic new ad "Ready":

This is truly disgraceful, and I believe this ad will mark the beginning of Rudy's eventual downfall.

Please "Flag" the video as "Hateful or Abusive Content", which will cause viewers to have to agree to see "hate" content before viewing Rudy's ad... Hahaha.

i knew it would be bad from your description... but wow.... i don't really think ron paul supporters need to do or say anything about this... he went way over the top and i think he'll get a lot of flack for that. i wouldn't even bother voting it down on youtube... the vast majority of youtube watchers will be pretty sick to their stomach after seeing that peice of blatent propagandia. the sad thing is, that's gonna convince a bunch of war mongering americans to vote for him. which i guess is fine... it's better for ron paul to go up against rudy, mike and romney all at the same time, rather than just one of them... so hopefully that add will take a few away from huck and divide their votes a bit more.

Sorry guys, but the Middle East is indeed a really wicked and backwards place. Sticking our heads in the sand isn't going to work and Ron Paul doesn't believe that either.

My brother's seminary professor (a woman) has been to Iran several times. No not as some missionary trip, but as a invited lecturer at their university. Does that sound like a wicked backwards place? Inferring that all muslims are "perverted" as he does in the video is undeniably racist. Take your head out of the sand and realize why they are pissed off at us. We would all be armed and fighting if our streets were being patrolled by Chinese military for our own good.

Patriot James Madison lamented the problems in creating a government that protected the country from invasion yet maintained a proper respect for individual liberty:

The management of foreign relations appears to be the most susceptible of abuse, of all the trusts committed to a Government, because they can be concealed or disclosed, or disclosed in such parts & at such times as will best suit particular views; and because the body of the people are less capable of judging & are more under the influence of prejudices, on that branch of their affairs, than of any other. Perhaps it is a universal truth that the loss of liberty at home is to be charged to provisions against danger, real or pretended, from abroad.

And Madison knew that of all the calamities that can befall a country, nothing could be more detrimental to the freedom of the citizenry than warfare. War concentrates power into the hands of the few and saps the will of citizens to resist, as they become stupefied with patriotic fervor. As Madison said,

Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few.

The Founders also knew that if war were to befall the country, the cause was just as likely to come from within the country as without. For it is not invading armies that pose the greatest threat to liberty, but the state itself. Alexander Hamilton argued in Federalist No. 8,

Safety from external danger is the most powerful director of national conduct. Even the ardent love of liberty will, after a time, give way to its dictates. The violent destruction of life and property incident to war — the continual effort and alarm attendant on a state of continual danger, will compel nations the most attached to liberty, to resort for repose and security, to institutions, which have a tendency to destroy their civil and political rights. To be more safe they, at length, become willing to run the risk of being less free.

Everything you ever wanted to know about SCUMBAGS is laid out by the founders.

beware the BOOGEYMAN.

"Or our you just buying into the war propaganda?"

No, I don't want war with Iran. They are not a risk to any real national security interests we have.

"My brother's seminary professor (a woman) has been to Iran several times. No not as some missionary trip, but as a invited lecturer at their university. Does that sound like a wicked backwards place?"

Did not the Iranian government invite holocost deniers to come and hold a conference there? They also had a public whipping of a man with a Cane where he got the crap beat out of him because of his "immoral sexual" practices I believe. Iran's government is horrible, which is why a growing number of people over there are trying to radically change the government. They still arrest Christians in the middle east for preaching the gospel etc.

"As for Rudy Giuliani, how do you spell Mafia? Not your Don Corleone, behind-the beaded-curtains pizzeria-style Mafia. Giuliani's Mafia is more at home with borscht and gefilte fish than with meatballs and spaghetti and much more dangerous: weapons and drug smuggling, nuclear proliferation, blood diamonds, casinos, unscrupulous land development, and 73 Russian and Ukrainian expat billionaire mobsters all traveling unfettered with Israeli passports."

So asking questions about the holocaust now makes a country wicked and backwards? No matter how true something is questioning it should not make you "wicked and backwards".

Attacking someone with a cane is bad, no terrible! Next they will be arresting millions of people for using drugs and throwing them in prisons were they will be raped and assaulted. Oh wait... That's our country. Next they will be throwing people in prison without a trial.... Oh wait... That's our country. Next they will be spying on their citizens phone calls, emails, and installing cameras to watch their every move... Oh wait... That's our country. Next their leaders will take their country to war under false pretenses... Oh wait... That's our country.

Their government is abusive and evil in different ways than ours so it's easier for us to see. But the truth is both of our governments are sick, abusive, evil and corrupt. Any politician who tries to make the argument that we are somehow better than Iran or other middle east country is a hypocrite of the highest order.

It is fear mongering.

However some people latching onto the "a people perverted" are, I think slightly misunderstanding that sentence. It is being used in the same way as, following right after it, "a religion betrayed". I assume the people comment is in reference to the history, particularly or Iranians, Persians and Arabs too - often that of trade and science. Just as people say that Islam isn't always violent but some have "perverted it" or "betrayed it".

Can't believe I've just defended something Rudy said - but that was how it came over to me. However, I'm not defending Rudy - the ad is appalling. It of course fails to point out the causes of the anger in the middle east - anger that he would increase massively. He isn't fit to be President.

btw - what happens if people "flag" a video?

The Middle East didnt attack the US on 911. A group , headed by Osama Bin Laden, called Al Qaeda did. This mixing of Insurgents , protesters , Iranians etc with Bin Laden and images of 911 is completely and utterly wrong. This is the problem with the US political climate atm, there are actually people who believe Iraq carried/planned out 911 ... 1 of which was on this forum not long ago (a Huckabee supporter) . People have been duped thanks to propaganda like this vid. I agree , its not racist ... but it is just flat out Orwellian

The US has the right and the obligation to go after OBL and AQ .... not Iran, Iraq or any other Middle Eastern country.

The announcer has a very similar voice as the FAUX NEWS announcer. He also has the same rhythm to his voice. This is obviously intended to reach out to the dolts who idolize Fox news.

Rudy has become very, very desperate now, with this hateful, xenophobic new ad "Ready":

This is truly disgraceful, and I believe this ad will mark the beginning of Rudy's eventual downfall.

Why bother flagging it? To get it removed? This sounds like something far left "thought police" like the Southern Poverty Law Center or ADL would do.

Why not let the people decide for themselves? I think most logical folks can detect bullshit when they see it. Let the ad speak for itself instead of trying to shut it down because you've taken it upon yourself to decide it's racist or hateful.

That ad can only hurt Giuliani. Let it be.

Flagging it isn't government censorship. YouTube is a private company with its own terms of service, and it wants to be notified if people abuse it.
