I caught it breifly on CNN this morning... some sort of "unofficial' polling at a restaurant in Iowa... Obama won for the Dems, and you'll never guess who won for the GOP.... RON PAUL! They kind of blew off his win, but i noticed when they briefly showed the board he had 170 votes and Romney had like 20 something....!
anyone else see this or is there a youtube video?

I am from Iowa.

I believe this poll is held at a local restaurant, every four years, in Iowa City.

apparently what they did was give a coffee bean to every registered voter that walked thru the door and had a jar for every canidate...!
totally "spam proof", unless we kept walking out and coming back in!:rolleyes:

GREAT! I hope everything was at random and there was little setup for the poll, so there is little chance of spamming the thing or creating fraudulent results. Obama and Paul...sounds like what America really wants.

It was in a largely democratic area... so does that mean Ron Paul would come in fourth in the Democratic race?

Judging from past straw polls, like the one where Mitt's crew kept going back in, and we stayed fair, I'd say we're not that low. A huge majority of us, at least. We may have stormed in there as a big group, but we very likely didnt cheat.
